NFC
What is NFC?
Near Field Communication (NFC for short) is a wireless exchange of data over short distances. Smartphones or tablets nowadays, are equipped with an NFC tag and rea- ding system, making it easy to transfer data via NFC. When a pre-programmed NFC tag is held close to a smartphone/ tablet, information is transferred from the NFC tag to the smartphone or tablet.
NFC ball pen
This ball pen has a built-in NFC tag which can be stored with digital information. The pen can therefore be used for all kinds of marketing purposes. By adding a link to a video, business card, website or special offer for example, it can be shown on any phone as soon as the NFC pen is held near a phone which is compatible with an NFC tag reader.
Using the NFC pen
When bought, Toppoint will add information on the pen. Hold the smartphone or tablet against the NFC logo on the pen and a pup-up will appear on the screen of the phone that redirects to the information written on the chip. The in- formation is always current and can be updated at any time.
